Obituary of Gerald Lancelot Gardiner

GARDINER SR., Gerald Lancelot " Jerry " Passed away peacefully on September 1, 2008 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 71 years. Dearest soulmate for 47 years to Bonnie (nee McDaniel). Loving and Proud Father to Darlene Marcuz, Gerald and Monique Gardiner, Russell Gardiner; all of Windsor, and Sharlene and Kevin Child of Kingsville. Loving son of the late Lance and Rose Gardiner and son in-law to the late Ben and Estelle Tapaninen and Lois and the late Cecile McDaniel. Cherished Grampa to Dayna and Brittany Marcuz, Sarah and Amanda Gardiner, Candice and Brandon Gardiner, Sommer and Savanna Child. Dear Brother to Lena Rivest and Noe Tessier. Special brother in-law to Rosco and Shirley Flanagan, Robert and Cathy McDaniel, Bill and Clara Tapaninen, Dan Tapaninen, Richard Tapaninen, Donna and Joe Snodgrass. He will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Gerald was a retired employee of Wolverine Freight Systems. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services on Thursday, September 4, 2008 11:00 am in the Chapel.
