On behalf of the Dzwonczyk & Tkaczyk Family,
Our deepest condolences & Our prayers to the Halitsky Family.
Heaven gained another Angel
We will always remember & hold close to our hearts on how welcoming Father Halitsky made us feel when we were newcomers to Canada in 1989.
Never will we forget when we were invited to a wonderful dinner at their residence.
We knew no one & Father Halitsky made us feel at home away from our loved ones.
Father Halitsky was always there to help with open arms and had a genuine smile.
Our children Kasia & Sebastian formed friendships with Oksana & Roman & enjoyed Ukrainian Dancing together.
Kasia, who was 5 years old when arriving to Canada, still remembers, cherishes and still has her first Doll that she received from Father Halisky and his family.
We hold so many beautiful memories of the warmth, genuine care and compassion that Father Halitsky brought within himself so naturally.
We will never forget his heart full of love, kindness and his beautiful smile.

In 2005 you came to my parents' house to facilitate the baptizing of their 3 great grandchildren. My Mother was too sick to leave the house, but my Dad, my daughter and I really wanted to do this. My parents, and my daughter, are gone now but we were always so grateful for your humility and service to God & parish. Thank you for everything, Father. Vichna Pamyat. Anna Markiw

Dear Anna & the Halitsky Family,
I remember visiting you all with the late +His Grace Bishop Isidore. I also remember visiting the youth at your parish w Sr. Marie & Sr. Celeste. We had a great time. Fr Eugene was always so hospitable and enjoyed his work with the younger members of his parish. We laughed shared and worked together. Awesome. He cared so for his children and the youth. May he now shine and look down upon us and intercede for us before the Theotokos & our Lord.
I had a blast getting to know the family on these visits. May he watch over you & continue to shine in your hearts & memories. Зі святими Упокой душу раба твого Митрофорного Протоієрея Євгена на вічний спочинок. Тарас Карпюк
