It was with great sadness we learned of Ruby's passing. We have so many fond memories of camping with Ruby and Bill all over Ontario with the Essex Kent Pathfinders Travel Trailer Club and attending TTCAO events. Her energy and bright outlook on life gave everyone a lift, even more so when she would roll up in her sporty Mustang. We are very sorry we were unable to attend the funeral service for Ruby but we would like to send our condolences to you and your family. Ruby will be missed but the memories will always be in our hearts. Morley & Bev Bowman & Family

Dear Gavin and Lorayne, I am just reading this now and want to express my sadness in seeing your mother's obituary. Ruby led a well lived and beautiful life from this testimony. What a kind and giving lady! She has left behind the great successes of you and your families as a legacy to her memory. She must have taken such pride in following the outstanding career paths your life and Lorayne's have taken! Gavin, you and I both have fond memories and stories from a mom who arrived in Canada as a Scottish war bride. My mother married a Canadian airforce man. Living through the war in Scotland was an achievement with unending accounts to be shared . She was also active in the Anglican Church. Gavin and Lorraine and your extended family: Debbie and I are saddened to learn of Ruby’s passing. From sharing a party line in Oliver Farms to sharing organist duties at St Stephen’s, I have fond memories of Ruby as she was always there to support any worthwhile initiative and was instrumental in either organizing or volunteering in numerous church activities.
