I share the same warm thoughts as Josette. What a very kind man who always kept an eye out for us while we played in front of his house skipping rope, racing our bikes or simply running around playing hide and go seek everywhere. Prayers to all the Godfroy family and find comfort that Mr. Godfroy is surrounded by love, joy and peace.

When thinking about my neighborhood growing up, one image that always comes to mind is Mr. Godfroy across the street, in his garage. He was always working on his classic cars, getting one ready for the smash-up derby, or fixing someone else's car. He was so kind and patient with us kids. The Godfroy family was a big part of our childhood. So much more than just neighbours. I am so very sorry for your family's loss. I will always remember him with fondness.

My condolences to the family. Marcel was a great person who had a kind and generous soul. When Dan was sick, Marcel brought over his beloved car and took Dan for a farewell ride. I was so grateful for this beautiful gesture and I cannot tell you how much that meant to Dan. Marcel left his mark on many people and will be truly missed. Nancy Krakana
