Gina was born on December 14, 1927 in Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1949. With very little knowledge of the English language but exceptional cooking skills, she obtained her first job in the kitchen of the Elmwood Casino. After several years in the food industry she and her husband along with brothers-in-law Mario (Adelia) Morga and Antonio (Anna) Iatonna, opened their first restaurant, Trevi Pizzeria, in 1967. They expanded the business to include 3 more restaurants where they proudly served the Windsor Community for over 3 decades. Gina had a smile that could light up a room. She will be forever remembered by her kind heart and unconditional love of her family. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and find comfort that she is watching over us from heaven. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
