BALASCH, Johanna (Nee Untch) January 23, 1939- July 8th, 2023 Johanna Balasch at the age of 84 years went home to Jesus peacefully with her loved ones by her side on July 8th, 2023. Beloved wife to the late Nick (2019). Dear mother of Henry (Judy) and Johanna Seifarth (Terry). Proud Oma to James (Joanna), Joseph, Matthew (Tovah), Hannah, Lydia, Deborah Balasch and Garrett, Clarissa, Isaac (Alison), Braeden Seifarth. Loving sister to John (2003) and wife Elisabeta (2009) Untch, Daniel (1997) and wife Sara (2018), Wilhelm Untch (2021), Heinrich Untch (1940), Regina and husband Frank Klein, Hilda Sterczer and Hans (1999). Sister-in-law to Mathias (2020), Peter and wife Irmi Balasch of Austria. Dear aunt of Will, Fred, Sara, Henry, Michael Untch, John (Erika) Untch, Helene Untch, Linda (Marvin) Bublitz, Elizabeth (Fermi, 2014) DiMenna, the late Ernest (2014) Untch, the late Erich (2015) Untch, Frank (Cheryl) Klein, Regina (Frank) Brunetta, Rosemary (Glenn) McMullin, Ingrid (Duncan) McTavish and John Sterczer. Survived by many great nieces and nephews. Johanna is as well pre-deceased by her parents Johan and Regina Untch (1988). Johanna was a dedicated member of First Lutheran Church for many years. Visitation to take place at First Lutheran Church (160 Giles Blvd W) On Wednesday July 12th from 10am until time of the funeral service at 11am. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1805 ON-3). In memory of Johanna, donations may be made to First Lutheran Church or The Leamington Mennonite Nursing Home.
