I'm so sorry John, Roger and family. Claire was very special to our Residents and Staff, and she was so proud of her family; always telling stories and sharing photos. She was very involved with everything we did. She was a wealth of information and a joy to be around. Her involvement to our Activities was endless; always up for anything. I cherished playing dominoes daily with her during Covid. She always had a listening ear and friendly advice. I think those games helped us both through some difficult days. Claire's contribution to my Poetry club was immense. We had several poems published during her time here and the hardcovers she purchased for herself are completely dog eared! She was very proud of them. It was a standing joke between us, to see if we could get through reading the sad ones without crying. She was kind, gentle and loving; and a true Parkinson's soldier. She will truly be missed. I thank you for sharing her last years with us.
Sincerely,
Monique Pitre, Activity Aide
