Obituary of Bruce Allan Reid

REID, Bruce Allan Passed away peacefully on August 25, 2008 at Malden Park Palliative Care Unit, with his loving family by his side at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of 39 years to Ora (nee Perry). Loving father to Clayton Reid and wife Ivy of Newmarket. Predeceased by son Michael Reid (1979). Cherished grandpa to Maxwell and Brandon. Dear brother-in-law to Audrey Peirce and husband Gary, Jean Hannah and husband Barry, Brenda Kennedy, and Karen Perry. He will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bruce was a member of Westside Church of Christ. He was retired from Chrysler Canada and a member of C.A.W. Local #444. Bruce loved to sail and was a member of the Southport Sailing Club and enjoyed playing hockey with the Bendo Blazers Hockey Team. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
