Obituary of James McKeown

McKeown- James “Jim” 

Passed away suddenly on June 21, 2023. Loving soulmate and the love of his life to Jay (Jane Anne) (Nee Durfy). Loving and devoted father of Joel (Jolene) McKeown, Jaclynn (Keith) Pataky and Jillian (Brandon) Poisson. Loving and proud grandpa of Sadie, Logan, Willa, Molly, Lennon and fur baby Arie. Predeceased by his parent Daniel and Patricia McKeown. Dear brother of Janet (Duncan) Ramsay. Predeceased by one brother Donny and survived by sister-in-law Cheryl McKeown. Dear son-in-law of Doreen Durfy. Dear Brother-in-law of Karen (Randy) Golden and Bill (Lesley) Durfy. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim worked in the Plastic Industry for over 40 years and was presently working for Plasman. He was a passionate and die-hard fan of the Detroit Lions and the Toronto Maple Leaf’s and he always enjoyed a nice sip of Irish Whiskey. His foundation for the love of his wife and family was the backbone of his life and we will be deeply missed by them. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E on Saturday June 24, 2023 from 2:00pm  to 6:30pm followed by words of remembrance. Cremation to follow.
