Obituary of Briana Smith

In Loving Memory: Briana Jasmine Smith (April 25, 1995- May 29, 2023) It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Briana Jasmine Smith on May 29, 2023. Briana is remembered as being a vibrant, funny, warm-hearted, and outgoing young woman who touched the lives of many. While we mourn her loss, we choose to remember the moments of love, laughter, and strength that she shared with us. Born on April 25, 1995, in Windsor, Ontario, Briana was a source of joy and light to her family. She shared the best of both worlds, as she was loved and nurtured by her Canadian and U.S. family. Her radiant smile, zest for life and kind soul brought light even in the darkest moments. Her witty and undeniable originality always made her the life of the party. Briana was a lover of music who captivated the dance floor. Her humorous catch phrases and ways of emphasizing her point could make you laugh even when you didn't want to. Her sense of humor and compassion for others endeared her to all who knew her. She had a way of making others feel seen, heard, and loved. The loss of Briana leaves an indescribable void in the hearts of her loving family and friends near and far. Briana is survived by her mother Denise MacGregor, her dear brothers, D’Ante Robinson and Ronald Smith, Jr. (RJ), devoted aunts, protective uncle, close cousins, extended family, and special friends. Briana was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Smith, Sr., grandparents, Tommie and Evelyn Smith and Jean MacGregor and uncles, Tommie Smith, Jr., and Gary Smith. While our hearts ache with the pain of losing Briana far too soon, we will find comfort in knowing her spirit will continue to dance in our memories. Briana will forever remain in our hearts, a shining light guiding us through the darkest days. A funeral service to honor the life of Briana will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home. In this gathering, we will come together in remembrance of Briana for the love she gave, not the struggles she faced. Let us find strength in sharing precious memories and supporting one another during this difficult time. We extend our deepest gratitude to all those who have offered their condolences, support, love, and prayers during this challenging period of grief.
