Obituary of William Lawrence Murphy

Passed away peacefully on June 3, 2023 at the age of 56. Born in Windsor, Ontario on July 12, 1966. Loving Husband of 17 years to Valerie Prentice. Dear father of Joshua Murphy, Tyler Murphy, Jacklyn Murphy, Nicole Rose, Gerry Prentice and Dylan Steward. Proud Pepe of Riley Rose, McKynlea Rose, Roewyn Rose and Juanita Beaty. Survived by his father Terry Murphy (Sharon) and predeceased by his mother Rose. Brother of Diane, Dave, Barb, Colleen,  Diana, Danny and Suzy. Bill will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and Vollmer co-workers. He will especially be missed by his fur babies.

Bill was an avid Pool and Darts player, participating in leagues for both at the International Tavern. He loved to go golfing with his work buddies but when he wasn’t playing a sport Bill was spending time with his animals.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. 519-253-7234 on Friday June 9,2023 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Cremation to follow. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com
