Obituary of Eugene Armand Mailloux

Our hearts are broken. . . . . It is with great sadness that the family of Eugene Mailloux, an admirable and gracious man, announces that he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (nee St. Louis 2006), with whom he celebrated 52 years of a blessed marriage. Loving father of Janice and husband Dan Sutton; John and wife Robbin; Susan and husband Pat Mazzei and Jerome and wife Tina. Devoted grandfather of Sean (Jenni), Scott (Alison) and Shannon (Vince) Sutton; Christopher (Dawn Marie), Ryan (Rebecca), Amy (Richard), Aaron, Bethany and Emily Mailloux; Louis and Megan Mazzei; and Lara Mailloux. Great-grandfather to 10 beautiful grandchildren. Predeceased by parents William and Alma Mailloux and siblings Aurele, Marianne, Clarise and Bernard. Special brother-in-law to Leo and Ann (2016) Hayes. Will be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews. Eugene was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and a Eucharist Minister at St Gregory the Great Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m at Windsor Chapel (Banwell) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E.. Parish prayers will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 9:45 from the funeral home then to St. Anne’s Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. Online condolences may be left at www.windsorchapel.com. We are comforted by your outpouring of love, support, tears and of course all the hugs.
