Obituary of Mary Hnatiuk

Mary Hnatiuk It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Hnatiuk on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Country Village Nursing Home in South Woodslee,Ontario, beloved mother of David and his wife Mary (Kronner) and grandsons Stephen, Scott and Charlie, dear aunt to Olga Kuch (Stepowy) and Irene Sushko (Stepowy) and their families, predeceased by her husband Bill (Wasyl) in 1986. Mary was a long-time employee of the Metropolitan Hospital in Windsor, Ontario, a member of St. Vladimir"s Sobor, and the Ukrainian Women"s Association of Canada, Lesia Ukrainka Branch, specifically of their Museum Committee. She will be fondly remembered by her family, friends and associates for her generosity, and the great compassion and caring she always demonstrated. Visiting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home at 1700 Tecumseh Road East. are Sunday March 16th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 17th at 10 a.m. Internment at the Windsor Memorial Gardens.
