Obituary of Bohadan Drul

DRUL, (Don) Donald Everyone has a hero, and he was ours. With love in our hearts, we said goodbye to Don Drul as he unexpectedly, but peacefully, passed away on Saturday March 15, 2008. He was 85 years young. Beloved husband of Stella, he was Stella's "Don" for 62 years. He was a wonderful Dad and it was a privilege to be his daughter Gale, and his son Michael. Their spouses, Barry Burstyn and Lisa Drul would agree. World's best Geegee to his 3 most precious grandchildren: Dana and her fiance Dan McDonald, of Toronto; Maria, and Xander, of London. Special Dad to Marianne. Don was a brother to Myron Drul and his wife Olly, Peter Drul, and his late wife Natha. He was also predeceased by brother Mike and sister Mary, and parents Alexander and Anna Drul. His extended family includes sister-in-laws Lena Derlago, Helen Churchmuch, and Vernice Pelechaty, who will dearly miss her "sucker". He was "Uncle Don" to many nieces and nephews, in addition to the great group of people at Unimor. To honour Don, his wife and family invite you to be with us at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday March 18, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 -9 p.m. Panachyda Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, for Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Interment at Windsor Memorial Gardens. He will always be our "spirit in the sky" and although we are truly going to miss him, he will be forever in our hearts.
