Obituary of Francis John Urban

URBAN, Francis Born November 18, 1922 and delivered to Eternal Rest April 11, 2008. It is with great sadness in his passing, and joy of his memory, that Frank"s family announces he has begun a new journey and is reunited in happiness with his late wife Alice (2003). Born in Czechoslovakia, to the late John and Mary Urban; Frank moved to Windsor where he eventually met and married his true love and soul mate, Alice, enjoying 56 years together. They raised with much love their cherished children Richard (Cathy) Urban and Nancy (Louis) Szokol. He is also survived and will be deeply missed by grandchildren Connie (Kirk) Ehgoetz, Neal Clinansmith, Pam (Gary) Zytner, Jason (Vicki) Clinansmith, Dan (Stacey) Urban, Craig (Tracy) Clinansmith, Paul Urban, Krista (Jim) Iossifidis, Keith Clinansmith, and Deidre Szokol. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Jordyn, Eddie and Abigail Zytner, Noah, Justin, Sarah, and Anson Ehgoetz, Allison Clinansmith, Daniel Clinansmith, MacKenzie, Jacob, and Brookelyn Urban, Nicholas and Alexia Iossifidis, Brianne and Joshua Clinansmith. Also survived by siblings Ann (late Larry) Jacko, Mary Nantau, Irene (late Mario) Bravo, Joan (Bill) Smith. He is re-united with his parents and great-grandsons Nikolas (1999) and Hunter (2007). Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, April 14, 2008 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. and Legion Service at 7:00 p.m. Friends and relatives are requested to meet at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd.) on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
