Obituary of Marie Rose Rawlinson

RAWLINSON, Rose ( Blanchette - Harris ) ( nee Renaud ) Peacefully with her family by her bedside on April 9, 2008 at Extendicare Tecumseh in her 92nd year. Predeceased by husbands Al Rawlinson ( 1997 ), Carl Harris ( 1979 ) and George Blanchette ( 1958 ). Loving mother of Mary Ann & husband Mike Balicki - Bayfield, Diana Daguerre - London, Patricia Deleary - London, Therese Sutherland - Windsor , Louis Blanchette - London , Larry & wife Judy Blanchette - Casselman , ON and Sandra Anstett - Windsor. Cherished grandmother to 20 grandchildren , 19 great - grandchildren and 1 great-great grandaugther. Predeceased by her brothers & sisters Orville, Thomas, Obdulie, Emile, Alfred, Ernest, Arthur, George " Duke " and Agnes. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Rose retired from Metropolitan Hospital in 1981after 17 years working with the Kitchen Staff. Rose loved her family and cherished every moment with them. She will forever live in their hearts. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd East on Friday April 11, 2008 from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9 PM. Prayers Friday evening at 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to share in the celebration of Rose's life at St. Anne's Church Tecumseh ( 12233 Tecumseh Rd East ) on Saturday April 12, 2008 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
