Obituary of Robert Gillis

GILLIS, Robert "Bob" It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a loving husband, father and grandfather on April 27, 2008, at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband and soulmate to Barbara (nee Goddard). Loving father to Becky and husband Stephan Maisonneuve, David and wife Star Gillis and step-father to Jeff and Stacey Sorrell and Tom Sorrell Jr. Cherished Grandpa to 7 grandchildren. Dear brother to John, Don, Ed, and Mike Gillis, and Theresa Lussier. Bob was a retired foreman at Chrysler Canada, a member of Local 444 and an active volunteer with the Hospice of Windsor. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday April 28, 2008, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 12 noon in the Chapel. Rev. Paul Almond officiating. Cremation to follow. In kindness, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
