Obituary of Michel John Farrah

FARRAH, Michel John Born August 6, 1923. Passed away April 16, 2008 with his loving family by his side. Survived by his loving wife, Linda Farrah, (nee Bishara), of 63 years. Leaving behind "as he called it, his little village" of 14 children, JoAnne and Dave Horton, Margaret Farrah, Marie and Steve Virag, Tony and Laura Farrah, Julie and Emil Lendorf, Joe and Vicky Farrah, Ann Girard, Laurie and Craig Hussey, Chris and Barb Farrah, Michelle Farrah, predeceased by Michael (1946), David (1956), Joseph (1959) and John (1961). Predeceased by son-in-laws Robert Smith and Ronald Girard. Cherished grandfather of 22 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Paul Farrah and survived by Janette Farrah. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all the nursing staff and doctors from the Renal Clinic, and the 7th floor nursing staff at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Also special thanks to Jackie Kennedy and the home care nursing staff. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe Street) on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Garden Cemetery.
