Obituary of Iris Rita Thomas

THOMAS, Iris (nee Fullinfaw) Passed away peacefully on July 31, 2008 in the presence of her children at the age of 79 years. Loving and devoted Mother to Lorraine Aubry and husband John, Trevor Thomas and wife Bonnie, Lloyd Thomas and wife Margaret, Karen Vallee and husband Curtis. Cherished Grandmother to Willis and wife Jaime, Terrance, Kendra, Michael, Christopher and Nicholas and Great-Grandmother to Elizabeth, Brady and Corbin. Former wife and friend to Edwin Thomas. Dear sister to Oscar Fullinfaw, Olga Fullinfaw, Joyce Fernandez and Hazel Fullinfaw. Predeceased by brothers, Stanley and Leslie Fullinfaw. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Iris was a retired Registered Nurse at Metropolitan General Hospital after many years of dedicated service. She was a resident of Harrowood Seniors Community for many years and a treasurer of the Harrowood Resident's Council. Friends will be received at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, August 3, 2008 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 -9 p.m. Prayers Monday 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W.) for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
