Obituary of Harold Blake Beard
Beard Harold "Blake" After battling cancer, and with his loving family at his side, Blake assembled his last lighting and sound production, and passed away on April 4, 2008, just 5 days short of his 56th birthday. Caring husband of Nancy(Reaume), dear father of Aaron and foster son Devon Kenny. Blake was born April 9, 1952, and is the loving son of Mable Beard of LaSalle, and Austin Beard of Port Lambton. Blake will be sadly missed by his sister Janis Komsa and brother-in-law Marty Komsa of LaSalle, Ontario; his brother Keith of Windsor, and sister-in-law Diane Cadarette of Calgary. Dear uncle of Kellie and Kevin Beard; and Matthew, Christian and Nathan Komsa. Blake will always be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his profession, his ability to co-ordinate, stage, and monitor his production shows. He was always available to lend a helping hand to his friends and family when they required them most. The last few months have been very difficult for Blake and his family, but the circumstances have been made easier through the assistance of Carol Derbyshire, and all of the staff at The Hospice, and the Hospice Village. Their acts of kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Blake was the owner-operator of Allied Events Services, was a member of the I.A.T.S.E. Local 580 for 17 years, and most recently served as their Business Agent.
