Obituary of Robert Daniel Stark

It is with saddened & broken hearts that we announce the passing of Robert on August 13, peacefully with his family by his side. Beloved husband, best friend and one true love of Arlene of 50 years. He will be forever loved by his children Deborah (Matt Mitchell) and Dean. Loving and cherished grandpa of Riley, Mackenzie, and Callie. Predeceased by his parents William & Kathleen, and brother Raymond. Survived by his dear sister Sandy (late Scotty Laughland). Loved brother-in-law of Dick & Sally, Wayne & Denise, Phil & Patty, and Dan & Kathy. Also survived by many aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews, and friends. Robert was a 1st class gentleman, he will always be remembered for his warming smile that could light up a room. He was always so happy. Special thanks to Dr. Andrea Steen, Dr. Mel Boulton LHSC Neuro, Fr. Gary Goyeau, and to Hospice for their excellent and exceptional care, Paramed, Bayshore Nurses & Care Partners. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Family and friends are asked to gather at Good Shepherd Parish (462 Advance Blvd, Lakeshore, off of Patillo Rd) on Friday, August 17, 2018 for visitation from 10am until the Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Private cremation will follow. Donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County, Brain Tumor Society of Windsor, or to a charity of your choice.
