Obituary of Giuseppe Villella

Passed away peacefully at University Hospital in London, Ontario, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Rosaria Villella (née Fiore). Loving and devoted father of Rosa Dixon (Steve) and John Villella (Kim). Proud Nonno to Isabella and Joseph Dixon. Cherished son of the late Giovanni Villella and Rosa Belcastro of Italy. Dear brother of Rosetta Danti (Beniamino, 2023), Chiara Tedesco (2022) (Frank), Biagio Villella (Rita), Padre Marcellino Villella (2026), Serafino Villella (Anna) and Antonio Villella (2022) (Trisa). Dear son-in-law of Francesco and Giovanna Fiore of Italy. Brother-in-law of Pierina Scalise (Raffaele)(2020), Marietta Pietropaolo (Pasquale), Stella Fiore (2021) ( Battista) and Antonio Fiore (Barbara). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Italy. Joe was born in San Giovanni in Fiore (CS) Italy. Worked for a short while in Switzerland before immigrating to Canada. A chef by trade, he spent his entire life working in food and hospitality, where he was known for his dedication and hard work. He valued time spent with his family and left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Above all else, Giuseppe treasured the time spent with his grandkids. They will miss his many stories and things to share. His love, guidance, and quiet strength will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he touched. Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Angela Merici Parish on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at University Hospital and Windsor Reginal Hospital for their compassionate care and support.
