Obituary of Joanne Marshall

MARSHALL, Joanne (nee Green)

June 20, 1946 - June 24, 2026

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joanne Marshall (nee Green), on June 24, 2026 at the age of 80 surrounded by family. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Lee Pettit, with whom she shared 22 beautiful years of love and cherished memories. Cherished mother to her children Kyle and Tera Marshall, and daughter-in-law Rhonda. Loving grandmother to Ariel, Evan, Ian, Ashleigh and Maygen. Joanne is also an adored great-grandmother to her seven great-grandchildren. Joanne is survived by her brother John, her sister Penny, sister-in-law Anne, and brother's in-law Lawrence and Scott. She is predeceased by her brother Tim Green and brother-in-law Marshall Pettit. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. As per Joanne's wishes, cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ALS Society of Canada, a cause she held near and dear to her heart after losing her husband to Lou Gehrig's, or to the Alzheimer's Society in their search for curing Dementia. PS - please dress casually for this ceremony, jeans and sandals are fine, Joe wouldn't have wanted anyone "dressing up", but don't forget her favorite colour was green!
