Obituary of Lillian Amelia Hengl

After a long and fulfilling life, it is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Lillian Amelia Hengl, at the age of 95. She is reunited with her husband of 52 years, Joseph John Hengl. Loving and devoted mother to Gregory Hengl (Kathleen Rundle), Kathryn Hengl (Michael Kelly) and Karen Hengl (Paul Lachance). Beloved grandmother to Garey, Gord, Maiya (Micah) and Kurtis. Beloved bonus grandma to Stuart (Amanda), and Erin (Brandon). Caring bonus great-grandmother to Zander and Brooks. Lillian was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing scrabble, watching hockey and golf, and above all spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her strength and independence and deeply missed by all those who loved her. We are thankful for the exceptional and compassionate care the staff at Lifetimes Retirement Home provided to our mom.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235). As per Lillian's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family service to follow. In honour of Lillian, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
