I met Rick more than 25 years ago as he was my financial manager, but over time he became so much more than that. He became a trusted friend. Rick was someone you could always count on as he was steady, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. His support extended far beyond his professional role, and he was always there for the people and causes he cared about. Rick was a long-time supporter of UHC and never hesitated to show up whether it was a golf tournament, gala, or any event we were hosting. His presence was constant, encouraging, and deeply appreciated. He believed in community and in giving back, and he lived those values quietly and generously. Over the years, Bill and I had the privilege of getting to know Rick’s family, and those relationships meant a great deal to us. To his family, please know that you are in our thoughts, and that we are here for you now and always and please let us know if you need anything. Love June Muir and Bill Mitchell

In Loving Memory of Rick Rick was truly the “salt of the earth” kind of person—He was an honourable man, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was also the kindest boss I ever worked for. For over seven years, I worked with Rick and his sons as their office manager/ life insurance assistant, and in all that time, Rick treated me like family. He led with quiet strength, humility, and compassion. Rick created a workplace rooted in respect, and his calm, steady presence made even the busiest days easier. His generosity, integrity, and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. To Diane, Chris and Greg—please accept my deepest condolences. Your family’s kindness meant the world to me. My heart truly goes out to you and the entire Clark family. I feel incredibly lucky to have known and worked with Rick. I will miss his funny stories and talks about his tomato garden.
