Obituary of Mary May Belanger

May passed away peacefully at the age of 94, on October 31, 2025. Predeceased by her loving husband Joe (2014). Wonderful mom to her two favourite sons, Gary (Irene), and Michael (Laura). Treasured grandma to Garrett and Abigail, Kayla (Stevin) and Kelsey (Brandon), and Leo Ramirez.

Cherished sister and best friend of Rose Bordeau (late Ray). Predeceased by her siblings Victor Boudreau (Shirley), Dell LaBranche (Leo), and Dave Boudreau. May is survived by her sister-in-laws, Arlene Boudreau and Bernadette Marier. May will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and adoring godson Gilles Belanger.

May loved spending time in her garden, tending to her flowers and vegetables with care. May loved shopping, fashion, and all that went with it, earning herself the nickname “Hollywood” from the staff at Huron Lodge.

May was a loving mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandma, and friend. Her joy and kindness will never be forgotten.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of the Poplar Unit at Huron Lodge for taking such exceptional care of May for the past five years. You are all amazing!

Family and friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11am. Cremation to follow.
