AWAD- Patricia “Patsy" (Gauthier)

Passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met Campus, just in time for happy hour. We like to believe our father Gary (2006) had a martini waiting for her-reunited at last, with laughter in the air.

Beloved mother to Kelly (Scott) Reimer, Mitchell Awad, Glenn Awad, and Jodi Mason. Cherished grandmother to Alexa Reimer, Nicholas Rajic, Kristi Mason, and Devon (Dorothea) Mason. Dear daughter of the late Arthur and Diana Gauthier. Loving sister of the late Ronald (Noreen), late Richard (Karen), and late Robert (Claudette) Gauthier, and half-sister to Marie Schram. Treasured daughter-in-law of the late Emerald and Evelyn Awad. Dear sister-in-law of Carol (late Emil) Theriault, Richard (Mary) Awad, Late Tom (Carol) Awad, Roger (Mary-Ellen) Awad, Margaret (Rollie) Fisher, Dorothy (late George) McMahon, Late Norma (Dan) Iannicello, Bruce (Val) Awad and Nino Marion (Susanne Blaney). Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Patricia worked for many years at Chrysler Canada. She was a long-time member of the Windsor Yacht Club and the Kukagami Lake Campers Association. Her love for euchre, theme parties, and lakeside happy hours made her the life of every gathering-always generous with her time, laughter, and legendary martinis. She had a gift for friendship and a deep love of life.

It was only fitting that she passed at exactly 5:00 p.m.-what we now lovingly call “Patsy Hour.” From this day forward, we’ll raise a glass at five in her honour, knowing she’s doing the same up above.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519-253-7235) on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service will follow on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. A private inurnment will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
