
Obituary of Marjorie Jane Chapman
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie "Marge" Chapman on March 29, 2025, at the age of 87. Marge passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 14, 1937, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, George (2015), and dear son, George Jr. (1998). Marge was a cherished mother to Jeff (Cathy), Ken (Deb), and Stewart, and mother-in-law to Karen. She was the proud and loving Nana to Jessica, Jaclyn (Wes), Jordan, Ashley (Josh), Courtney, Brittany (Adam), Travis (Heather), Katrina (Brett), and Stephanie (Shane), and a doting great-Nana to Rowyn; Amelia; William and Wyatt; Gabriel and William; and Carter, Zayden, and Gabriella.
Marge is predeceased by her parents, Emmett and Monica. She will be deeply missed by her siblings and in-laws, Bill (late Nicole), Betty (late Bruce), Ruth (late Ray), Rebecca (late Gerald), Phyllis (late Norm), late Don (late Barb), Frances (late Don), Madeline (late Ken), and Monica. She is predeceased by George's siblings, Jean (late Gerry) and Isabelle (late Keith). She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends, including her lifelong friends Earl Lepain; John and Ann Fase; Jean and the late Joe Susko; and neighbour Shirley Cassady.
Marge was a woman of kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She was a proud member of the Windsor Yacht Club, where she and George shared many cherished memories with friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Marge’s two loving caregivers, Almaz and Yvette, for their compassionate care and support.
Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell), 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Thursday, April 3rd from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. On Friday, April 4th, family and friends are invited to meet at Windsor Chapel after 10:00am until the funeral service at 11:00am to celebrate Marge’s life, followed by interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. "Bye for now."
