Sister-in-law of the late Margie (1996) (Paul), Ken (Tammy), Mary (Lars), Theresa (Mike), Joan (Stew), Rosemary (David) and Gerald (Susan). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, Godchildren, extended family, and friends, especially Joan (late Phil), Angela (Joe), Maureen (Murray), and the late Vanna (late Sam).
Felicia was a woman of deep faith who touched the lives of all who knew her. Known as the neighborhood nurse, she cared for others with compassion and generosity. Whether it was hosting lively family gatherings, cooking her famous meatballs/pasta sauce and salad dressing, or simply enjoying a “hot” cup of coffee with friends and family on the porch, Felicia’s home was always open, filled with warmth and hospitality, which was evident when she made friends quickly at her condo. She had a passion for gardening and loved to travel, with memorable trips to Europe and Myrtle Beach (with her favourite travel companions, Mary and Lars), which she often recounted with great joy.
Felicia’s volunteer work with the Good Shepherd Giving Tree for over 30 years was a testament to her selflessness and dedication to others. She was also a devoted hockey and baseball Mom, offering unwavering support to her children and their teams when they were young. Her spirit of giving and her ability to make everyone feel welcome will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A special thanks to the ICU and 6th Floor nursing staff at Windsor Regional (Ouellette Campus) for their dedicated care and compassion over the last 2 weeks.
