Obituary of Gary Casey

Passed away Sunday March 9, 2025 at 74 years of age surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Rita (nee Johnson). Cherished father of Jason (Louise). Very proud grandfather of Julia and Morgan. Survived by his brother Brian (the late Elaine, 2018) and his sister Sheila Peltier (Paul). Also survived by cousin Grace Ann Armstrong, several sisters & brothers in-law and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Anne (1978) and father Wilfred (2006).

Gary worked at Ford Motor Co. for 34 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer and member of Essex Golf Club. He enjoyed staying in shape and chatting with friends at Vollmer Centre and will be sadly missed by all those whose lives he has touched. 

Resting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) from 3-5pm & 7-9pm on Thursday March 13, 2025. Cremation to follow, a private family service will be held at a later date. Donations to the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County would be appreciated by the family.
