So sorry to hear of Mrs. Porfilio’s passing. I remember the delicious meals she would cook for us as teens. She and her husband were always so welcoming to us St. Gabriel girls. I think of Mr. Porfilio almost every time I eat and how he taught me which way to put my fork to indicate whether I would like more food or not. It is so funny how some people leave an impression on us that lasts a lifetime. I will always remember your nonna’s warm smile and kind heart. I am happy that she got to enjoy a long life and that she is now reunited with her dear husband and son. May your happy memories give you strength during this difficult time. Hi Laura, I send my condolences to you for your great grandmother’s passing. What a strong woman she must of been. Such a long life, filled with love from all of her family only matched by the love she gave to everyone in her family.
