On behalf of Pauline LeBlanc and family, our condolences to the St. Amour family. Diane was the flower girl at her Aunt Pauline's wedding almost 70 years ago. We are truly heartbroken to have missed the visitation, but only learned of Diane's passing today. Our condolences to John, Linda and the Trella family too.

I’m very saddened to hear the passing of Diane. I grew up living right across the street from her and she would take care of all the neighbourhood children. I will always remember her kindness and her infectious smile and her greeting saying “Hi babe”. We will miss you, Diane.

I’m very sorry to hear of Diane’s passing. We were one of the lucky families that found Diane to care for our two kids, Erin & Stuart Kelly. Diane would greet them each morning, ready for the day. She offered them love, patience and kindness as well as as some very good food. The kids loved her and we loved her as we knew our kids were safe and well cared for. May she rest in peace. ❤️ Patti Kelly

I’ve always felt a special connection to Diane. When my mom was pregnant with me, she put an ad in the paper looking for a home daycare/babysitter. Ironically enough, on the day I was born, Diane answered that ad. My brother, Stuart, and I spent everyday with Diane until we went to school. I am forever thankful that I had her to guide me during those formative years and she truly became a second mom to me. Even when I was older, she would come to my parties, come and pick me up and take me shopping and talk to me on the phone for ours about things happening in our lives. My son is now at a home daycare, because of how much I loved it as a child. As he learns and grows, I am coming to appreciate even more the amount of work and love that she shared with us. Unfortunately, we lost touch in recent years but I will forever hold a special place in my heart for Didi. My very first best friend ❤️

Here was the most recent picture I had of Erin Kelly and Diane. Erin and Diane held a friendship long past the 'sitting' days. Just thought I'd share a visual memory to add to the condolences.

The Carlton family has such wonderful memories of Diane “Di Di”. James and Taylor went to her house for daycare and they were so lovingly taken care of. She shared so many milestones with us. For a couple of years she came to our house as well. We just loved her and her gentle and caring ways. My deep condolences go out to her sons and her extended family. I know she loved you deeply. Unfortunately, I am out of town for the service. I wish I could be there to pay tribute to Diane. You are all in my thoughts and prayers Barbara Carlton and family
